Introducing the Valpolicella Superiore Ripasso DOC Rocca Sveva, a full-bodied and smooth red wine from the heart of the Veneto region in Italy. This wine is made from a blend of Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara grapes, and undergoes a unique winemaking process known as "Ripasso." This involves re-fermenting the wine on the lees of the previous vintage's Amarone, adding depth and complexity to the final product. With an alcohol content of 14% and aged in oak barrels, this wine boasts intense flavours of dark fruit, spices and vanilla. Perfect to enjoy with hearty meat dishes or strong cheeses, the Valpolicella Superiore Ripasso DOC Rocca Sveva is presented in a beautiful 0.75L bottle.
Intense ruby red colour with highlights tending to orange as wine ages a bouquet with intense aroma of cherry, blackberry and nuances of vanilla. On the palate lengthy progression, underscoring the elegance of the aromas, with well-balanced, velvety tannins.
